Anonymous droht (mal wieder), am 28.1.2012 Facebook lahmzulegen #OpGlobalBlackout
Die Hackergruppe Anonymous drohte ja bereits im letzten Jahr damit, Facebook am 5.11.11 lahmzulegen, aber wie wir alle wissen, ist das nicht passiert. Jetzt starten sie einen neuen Anlauf und am 28.1.2012 ab 12 Uhr soll es soweit sein. In einem gestern veröffentlichten Videowird davon gesprochen, “dass ein Krieg zwischen der US-Regierung und Anonymous begonnen hat”, wobei sie sich ganz klar auf die bevorstehenden Einschränkungen durch SOPA und PIPA berufen.
In bester Guerilla-Manier legte Anonymous bereits am Freitag u.a. die Seite der US-Justizbehörde lahm, nachdem der Filesharer Megaupload geschlossen wurde. Und jetzt soll also mal wieder Facebook dran glauben.
In dem Video werden die Internetnutzer aufgerufen, sich an dem Angriff zu beteiligen, indem sie die “Low Orbit Ion Cannon” (LOIC) herunterladen, mit der auch schon die US-Regierungsseiten erfolgreich attackiert wurden. Über LOIC werden ein tausende Anfragen an den Server geschickt, um so die Technik in die Knie zu zwingen. In dem Video gibt es auch gleich noch die passende Gebrauchsanleitung für das Tool und als Angriffszeitpunkt wird der 28.1., 12 Uhr genannt – allerdings ohne jegliche Zeitzone. Anonymous scheint sich der Schwierigkeiten bei dem Plan sehr bewusst zu sein, denn Facebook betreibt lt. dem Video ein Netz von knapp 60.000 Servern. Aber gemeinsam und mit viel Support hofft Anonymous auf den Erfolg.
Warum aber ausgerechnet Facebook jetzt wieder dran glauben soll, wie die Seite mit SOPA und PIPA zusammenhängt und ob Anonymous es diesmal schaffen wird? Wir wissen es nicht, werden aber auf jeden Fall das Ganze im Auge behalten.

Next you will go to the box that says attack options. Change the threads to 1000. Then you will hit the button that says IMMA CHARGIN MAH LAZER… tHIS WILL NOT WORK if everyone does it at random times… This is why… I would like to conduct this operation at exactly 12 A M on January 28th 2012.
