Akai startet das Jahr mit einer große Ankündigung – die Wiedergeburt der MPC. Die Akai MPC 60 ist 1988 auf den Markt gekommen und wurde von Akai zusammen mit Roger Linn kreiert. Der Sequenzer ist patternorientiert, der Sampler ist 16-stimmig polyphon. Er ist Vorreiter für eine ganze Generation von Produkten und bis heute recht beliebt. Diese Meldung kam wirklich unerwartet. Der Doctor hat verkündigt sich eine kleine Pause in Sachen Musikbusiness zu gönnen und sich anderen Projekten zu widmen. Was das für Detox heißt? Mahlt es Euch doch einfach selber aus. Der genaue Wortlaut von Dre lautet:

Kendrick Lamar auch bekannt unter K. Dot aus Compton, LA, Kalifornien wurde im August 2011 von Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre und The Game als der “New King of the West Coast” ausgerufen. Anfang Oktober hat Dr. Dre dann angekündigt ihn auf seinem Label Aftermath Entertainment signen zu wollen. Dieser Track ist aus seinem im Juli 2011 erschienen Album Section 80, das Video kommt von The ICU und wurde in New York City gedreht.

Nach den News zu den Wireless Headphones und den neuen Colorways, haben wir jetzt etwas womit Ihr Musik nicht mehr alleine hören müßt. Denn bald gibt es die Beatbox Portable von Monster Cable mit verbesserter Bluetooth-Technologie für iPod, Smartphone, Tablet oder Computer für bis zu 10 Meter Reichweite. Rapper 50 Cent hat heute via Twitter angekündigt, dass sein neues Album “Black Magic” wegen Labelstreitigkeiten vorerst nicht erscheinen wird. Darüber hinaus wird er morgen die neue Single von Dr. Dre leaken. Aber lest einfach selber.

“Man I’m not releasing a album i can’t believe interscope is this f*cked up right now. I apologize to all my fans. I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time to many.
I LOVE DRE but I’m putting his next single psycho out tomorrow at 2:00. Your gonna love it its a big song I just don’t think it deserves a great set up sense they can’t seem to get it right when it comes to me.”
