DJ Scientist “Mad Science” Mixtape

Habe heute eines der besseren Mixtapes meiner sehr großen Tape-Sammlung als Stream auf Mixcloud entdeckt. Müsst ihr euch reinziehen.

Das Ding wurde, wie unten beschrieben, von meinem Freund Sven “Katmando” Christ und seinem Label “Masters on Broadway” als “Boombox” verpackt mit zwei weiteren Tapes in dne Handel gebracht. Erst kürzlich – nach 18 Jahren – habe ich die Verpackung entsorgt, da sie immer in meinem Regal stand und beim letzten Büroumzug zu sehr leiden musste!

DJ Scientist “Mad Science” was originally released in summer 2000 on Masters On Broadway / Virgin Records on tape. It was part of a “Ghetto Blaster” edition box which additionally included two other mixtapes by legendary DJ Static from Denmark (entitled “One”) and DJ Mr. Burnz (at that time the German ITF Champion, entitled “Liquid Finguz #1”).

Although “Mad Science” was “just a tape”, it was my first official release on a label and spreaded quite well in Germany – mostly bootlegged of course, as usual for mixes. And surprisingly, up to this day, I still get quite a lot of requests about this tape. So, ten years later, I hope you will still enjoy this!
